SUMMARY:

Advan is looking for an experienced, talented and ambitious consultative sales professional who will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from cold prospecting, demoing and closing its trifecta of products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and upsell a generous VIP accounts that you will be assigned and build upon
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop new target accounts from a plethora of lead-generation activities
  • Engage with prospects via phone by making outbound calls. Support this effort with emails and social media networks.
  • Become an expert in Advan's products, industry trends, and data feeds.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • We are an in-office company located 2 blocks from Grand Central Station, in NYC. This is not a remote work opportunity.
  • BA/BS in any major
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in data or analytics sales role
  • Experience working with Excel, PowerPoint and sales tracking software
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively across projects and accounts
  • Ability to learn fast, work independently, and be a team player with a positive attitude. Good communication is key.
  • Ability to work in a start-up environment with constant growth related challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to "work the phones"
  • Experience in Fintech and Alternative Data and/or Commercial Real Estate are a major plus.

Customer Success Manager
We are looking for:

A passionate customer-centric team player with strong technical curiosity and the ability to get things done. You can listen to customers' pain points and translate them into business requirements and KPIs.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and can multi-task but you also know how to focus and invest time in playbooks and processes in order to ensure efficiency. You enjoy motivating team members and acting as the bridge between the company and the customer.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage post-sales relationships with Advan's customers and serve as their trusted consultant. Customers include Hedge Funds, Real Esate Investment Companies and Insurance Companies. You will be the main point of contact for your customers and will have a full technical understanding of Advan's product set including best practices, limitations, and roadmap items.
  • Leverage Advan product data and customer data to perform intensive analyses designed to drive product development and business strategy. You will present findings to senior management to drive product decisions and growth opportunities.
  • Identify new partnership expansion strategies through customer relationship development and successful project management.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing by sharing customer insights and improving cross-company operational components.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Customer Success experience working with technology companies.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills. Can speak comfortably and persuasively in front of all levels of a customer organization. Experience identifying and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple, simultaneous solutions executed by various internal teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and creatively problem solve in real time.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience with analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use product performance data and market insights to drive new business opportunities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot product or technical issues with internal teams when needed, including product, development and customer support.

Data Scientist
Responsibilities:

The individual with work with the CTO team to enhance our existing geolocation products along with new complementary datasets. They would be instrumental on the design of new offerings and combining the various existing datasets in one concrete product. The main focus would be on applying statistical modeling to various structured and unstructured geolocation data for verifying the quality and integrity of the data, cleansing the data and extracting trading signals along with using them to calibrate existing forecasting models. It would be also required to write research reports describing our data and its applications. Part of the role will entail interaction with the business development team on client driven projects.

The individual should demonstrate strong ability to work on a fast paced environment, proven record of working with innovative product teams and be ambitious to participate in shaping the direction of the newly formed geolocation data industry.

Competitive compensation package, including salary and bonus, along with equity participation.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience
  • Quantitative degree, preferably Ph.D. or Master’s
  • Deep knowledge of statistical modeling using large datasets along with algebraic and multivariate calculus expertise
  • Experience with R, Python and SQL

Responsibilities:

You will work directly with the management team to drive new sales on the Real Estate product.

You will be responsible for creating and managing the sales pipeline. This will involve managing the relationship with the client across all stages, from identifying an opportunity, to scheduling meetings and demonstrating the product, to supporting the prospect, to closing the deal and supporting the account on a post sales capacity.
